Is summer flying bringing you down? Are you reminiscing about Ski Weeks and all your friends? Counting down the days until Winter Park Training Camp in December? Can't wait to see us? We don't want to wait any longer either!!!

DSSC is having a summer party! 

What a better way to close out the summer season and prep for fall than by having a summer blow out! Read on ahead for the details and we hope to see you soon!

• WHERE: Jordanelle State Park just outside of Park City, UT.
• WHEN: September 11th, 2026, 10am to 8pm.
• COST: $30 for food and non-alcoholic drinks

WHAT: We have a pavilion reserved right next to the water and beach Volleyball courts! The pavilion can host up to 75 people with 2 charcoal grills and 9 picnic tables consisting of a concrete slab for half of it and sand floor on the other half, so bring your beach chairs! The water is easily accessible from our location so bring your rafts, paddle boards, and any other water toys you would like! There is plenty of parking nearby also.

There is an entrance fee coming into the park so carpooling is recommended.

This is event is BYOB. DSSC is supplying all of the food (hot dogs, burgers, chips), and non-alcoholic drinks, but we ask our members and their guests to bring any other drinks or snacks to share/have.

Bringing your own utensils and plates is also encouraged! This saves on waste and cost for the club!

If you don't have water toys or don't want to bring them, a rental location is nearby that offers kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, pontoon boats, and ski boats (Read on below for details):

How To Get There

Coming from Salt Lake City, take I-80 east to the US-40 exit towards Heber City. On US-40. Continue south approximately 8 miles until you see the Mayflower exit (you will see the massive East Village expansion of Deer Valley on your right). Follow the signs for the Jordanelle State Park.

DSSC Rented a Boat!

Have you ever wanted to try wakeboarding or wake surfing? Now is your chance! At the DSSC summer party, we will have a wakeboard/wake surf boat available to take anyone who wants some water sports action! Come and bring your DSSC friends for some fun water time!

Pre-Summer Party BBQ!

Two of our wonderful members are having a pre-summer party BBQ! Jesse Kirvan and Megan Cross will be hosting Taco Thursday!

Megan and Jesse will provide the tacos and all the “fixings”. If people want to bring a side or drinks that would be great!

Yard Games! Fire Pit! Hot tub! (Bring a swimsuit or don’t!). Ha. Ski Movie after it gets dark outside!
