Our first NAASF Event of the season! After training camp, everyone is excited to try out their new and improved skills in friendly yet fierce competition. This year, we kick off the official season at Big Sky Resort in Big Sky, MT. We haven't been to Big Sky in several years and we really look forward to returning and exploring what the mountain has to offer!

About Big Sky

Nestled 50 miles from Bozeman, MT in Big Sky, MT, Big Sky resort offers breath taking views, exceptional terrain for all levels and some state of the art ski lifts. One ski lift has heated seats! The Lone Peak tram takes you to the summit of Lone Mountain where you will find some steep chutes and easy traverses to the other side along with breath taking views all around. Want to learn more? TEAM DINNER/DSSC Registration Fee

We are going to Pinky G's Pizza in the town of Big Sky at 5:30pm! The restaurant has agreed to charge each person individually for food and drinks. This is why the fee to register with DSSC is $0. Pinky G's is shutting down the restaurant for us so let's pack it! There is a public transport from the resort to the town of Big Sky. Scroll below for transportation details!

If you're interested in attending, please register with DSSC and and with NAASF. The last day to register with NAASF is Dec 28th, 2024. Please do this ASAP!

Lift Access

Big Sky Resort is an Ikon Pass Destination! This resort requires you to make a reservation for you to use your pass there. We made it easy for you to do that! Just follow the link and reserve you days so you don't miss on the fun! Just login when you get to that page then click on "Make a Reservation" under "Access Details."

Big Sky Lift Tickets - NAASF

You can purchase a single day, or 2 of 3, 3 of 4, 4 of 5 or a 5 day lift ticket.  If you purchase 1 or 2 days the lift ticket cost is $175 per day.  Once you get to 3 days or more the cost falls to $155 per day.

LOdging

Big Ski has released our lodging discounts for this ski week! I think you will find these prices very competitive to other services. Click the link below to search for lodging! A few things to note given to us by the resort

  • All quotes on that link are based on single occupancy. Each additional guest is $25/guest per night. 
    • Rollaway beds are $20/night
  • The Huntley Lodge, Shoshone Condos and Village Center lodging rates (quoted per room, per night) include daily breakfast buffet for each registered guest. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30-10:30am in the Huntley Dining Room. 
  • The Whitewater Inn includes daily continental breakfast for each registered guest. 
  • The Summit Hotel, Snowcrest Lodge, and Vacation Rental rates do not include breakfast.

If you plan to rent a car a 4 wheel drive is recommended, not an AWD

Please note that rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are not available in the Big Sky area. 

Skyline Bus - Public transportation around Big Sky and to Resort - Free

The SKYLINE BUS runs 7 days a week in the summer and winter seasons. The Canyon-Mountain loop includes a variety of stops throughout Big Sky, from the Gallatin Canyon hotels and restaurants to the Mountain Village (Big Sky Resort) and Moonlight Basin and all that’s in between. There is no cost to ride the Skyline Bus.

NAASF is working on a discount here. However, there is a potential for a bus at noon and 3p if there is enough interest.  Please email Jeff Fuscardo (NAASF Coordinator for Big Sky) and if over 20 people are interested at either time, then a bus will be set up.  20 people is the "break even" point so anything more than that will be cheaper than booking the shuttle.
