This week's coordinator: Earl Okuda, 808-292-2330

We are going to Switzerland! The Delta Ski and Snowboard Club officially will head to Lenzerheide, Switzerland to compete in the 63rd World Airline Ski Championship! This week is more involved than the NAASF (domestic) weeks meaning this week has earlier deadlines. Please make sure that you read all the info published as it is different than other weeks.

Important Info!!! This WASC has different booking procedures than others. Please continue reading below. The links above are info only.

There appears to be a multi-step process in place that starts with filling out the registration form on the Lenzerheide website. You'll need to know who you are planning to room with, and where you'd like to stay.

EACH PERSON that is coming will need to fill out a SEPARATE form!

Once you submit it, you'll receive an automated email from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) with the details of your registration. After that, you can expect to be contacted to complete the booking process and pay the invoice for your registration fee and lift tickets.

*All of this is subject to change, but this is the information we have now...

The Registration Fee ("Social Fee") is just CHF260.00 this year, about US$293.53.

Lodging

DO NOT BOOK Accommodations DIRECTLY ON THE HOTEL WEBSITES! They must be done following the procedures below to ensure the generous discounts and cancellation policies.

Due to a lot of feedback from team captains and participants, the 2024 WASC organizers have decided to change the booking process for accommodation.

Accommodation bookings will now be handled by the team hotel coordinator.

What does this mean for you?

If you have already registered: Your WASC registration remains valid, but your existing hotel request is no longer valid.

DSSC's hotel coordinator for WASC 2024 will book the accommodation for the whole team. DSSC 2024 WASC Hotel Coordinator is:

Lisa Nydahl
mrozekl@yahoo.com

734-330-7115

DSSC 2024 WASC hotel coordinator is therefore your contact person for accommodations. Individual accommodation bookings are no longer possible.

If you have already registered for WASC: You need to email Lisa Nydahl the following:

  1. Your first and second hotel or apartment choices,
  2. Your arrival and departure dates, (please note that Hotel Schweizerhof is only available starting on 10 March)
  3. Your roommate choices (or whether you’d like to have a single room).
