IASF WASC in Tromso, Norway

We are headed to Norway!!! The 62nd World Airline Ski Championship (WASC) will be held in the heart of the arctic circle in Tromsø.

After two years of postponed IASF events, airline clubs from around the world take the world stage and compete for the prestigious honor of being the best! The Tromsø Organizing Committee has been hard at work to make this event a spectacular comeback for all of us! Registration is now open for this event.

There is a lot of information so please make sure to read everything so you can make an informed decision.

We ask that if you're interested in attending, please register on the DSSC website, or click on "Register" at the top of this email. This will direct you to pay the DSSC Fee and then send you directions on the next steps to finish the WASC Registration. Below you will also find a lot more information about WASC below so keep scrolling! 

For our team dinner, we already have restaurant! T Tapas serves a blend blend of traditional Norwegians dishes and contemporary fare. The cost is $50 per person and it's due when you registered for the event from our DSSC website. The price only includes food, drinks are up to the individual. Team dinner is a required event if you're attending!

Lodging

There are four separate price tiers for Tromsø. Each hotel/stay option has a different booking routine. To get each hotel's details, click on the links provided on the WASC page. Tromsø boast its proximity to all winter activities, most being only 5-10 minutes away! With hotels like the Radisson Blu, Scandic Ishavs Hotel, cabins and apartment options, there are great options for everyone!
